after a campsite pancake breakfast & goodbye hugs at papa fest we took a short drive to lancaster, pa for josh's next show. we were hosted by the lovely & talented becker family, and after playtime & showers the whole family headed over to their church for the concert.
the kids seem to pretty much still be on west coast time, so they were able to stay up for this concert. since the venue was a church, we played in the nursery during the show & even listened to josh's whole performance through the nursery speakers. when the show was over, heron helped with merch & sheppy rode on my back. they both had meltdowns at 11 o'clock, but they did great up until then!
we spent the night with my dear college friend jenna & her family in hershey. she & jeffrey are house parents at the milton hershey school, & they had the perfect set-up for our family since the kids they host were gone for the summer. our kids loved their (biological) kids sully, lia, and evie, & we all had a fantastic late night + morning together catching up on thirteen years of life.

our stay in hershey wouldn't have been complete without a stop at chocolate world! before our 9-hour drive to muncie, the johnsons joined us for one ride at hershey park.
