we'll get some of josh's bachelor party photos up here soon... for now, here's elle's bachelorette party & shower, hosted by gala, alli, and erica.

good friends & future sisters, even a dear college friend who came in from columbus, ohio, celebrated with a friday night slumber party, complete with meatball subs, campfire, and good beer. we woke up to a pancake breakfast, then headed over to the church for the shower. mike & marti even drove down from south bend!

the trip east

from seattle, washington, we first stopped through helena, montana, to spend the night with uncle willie & aunt kay, elle's honorary uncle & aunt from jungle days. willie, elle's old orchestra teacher, told the best stories, & kay made elk burger sloppy joes. then on to yellowstone with its geysers and snow, landing in cody, wyoming. the next day we wound through the bighorn mountains, our favorite stretch of the west we saw. onward we drove, over fields and plains, with music and secrets, on to the heartland we love.
