i can't imagine how josh & i would've finished these covers in time on our own... it took ten people five hours to finish 200 CD covers. but together we did it! we made just enough to send out to everyone who donated towards josh's album project. & josh made a few more the next day to send to family. these are basically a temporary edition, a simplified version of the "real" album art that will be out in a few months (the CD contained inside will be exactly the same). but the design translated perfectly to rubber stamp format, & these DIY covers turned out lovely! thanks for your help & friendship, oatman house!

(but your etsy party sounded fun, too!) i can't take any credit for the design ;) i was inspired by the recent penguin hardcover classics, especially "the odyssey", but it was designer chris tobias who brought the concept to light. the for-sale version, out a few months from now, will be printed on a sweet light blue book cover.
