we're in the thick of potty training with heron right now, with mostly accidents until today. today, so far, she's scored five hits, zero misses. wow! i think having this little kitty companion, who's also wearing undies & learning to use the potty, is helping her get into it. that, and maybe the fact that she's starting preschool on monday and there's no changing table, just a kid-sized potty (the flushable, just-like-mom-and-dad's variety, only miniature). when we took heron to see the preschool on friday she was SO excited about the little potty, & somehow it was just the motivation she needed.

I love it! Israel loved his possum puppet (stuffed with a water bottle) who wore underwear. Israel loved teaching him to go potty as he was learning himself. I love that there is another kiddo sitting her stuffed animal on the potty somewhere...even if it's far away.
