the beard party

since josh just caught up to the rest of us, & has finally entered his thirties, we threw a beard party to celebrate his new age + wisdom.  there was even a bearded carrot cake with fresh borage flowers tucked in.

it's funny that josh is just now turning thirty because he's felt thirty ever since i turned thirty... four years ago.  josh probably would've enjoyed a quiet evening with his family just as much as a party, but i couldn't let this milestone pass softly by.  i love this lovely man, & it was a joy to celebrate him on saturday with beloved family & friends!  what fun it was!  joshy, happy birthday!
