heron being able to go to preschool is such an answer to prayer! heron is just 2 1/4, but she's so ready for school! she's extremely verbal, social, & physical, & we felt like she could benefit from some additional instruction, interaction, and stimulus outside of the home. also, two mornings with just one child would allow me to help josh with small voice, work on projects for my photography class, & begin to work on the art for josh's new album. we'd been looking around at montessori-style schools, which cost about $450 a month for two half-days, which we totally couldn't afford.
but our friend rachel "happens" to own a preschool, pockets full of posies (that draws from montessori principles), and when the topic came up last week she offered to help make it financially possible for heron to attend her school! her daughter avalon is heron's best friend, and they are thrilled to be at Posies together on monday & wednesday mornings!

Heron is such a cutie! Jacob just started preschool, too. When did they get to be so big?!? Oh and I love her new dress!! You are so talented!
