6 years : 4 houses, 3 states, 4 albums, 2 babies. happy (belated) anniversary (getaway) weekend, sweet love o my life!
josh was gone over our anniversary weekend, so the following weekend, thanksgiving, josh's parents watched the kids so we could take a twenty-four hour getaway. we stayed in downtown seattle at the alexis hotel (where through josh's sister we were able to get a lovely suite with a fireplace). though we visit the seattle area every few months for family gatherings, we rarely explore downtown during those visits. so we enjoyed being tourists, eating good + quiet meals, touring the art museum, lingering coffee dates--things we are rarely able to indulge in with kids in tow!
(last year's belated anniversary was celebrated in seattle, too)

Happy belated Anniversary! I have such happy memories of your fall Indy wedding day. :) Also, I LOVE the yellow bag. I was actually just drooling over it at the anthropoligie website the other day while trolling for patterns that a tailor could copy here. :) It looks perfect for your sweet weekend getaway!
yes, what a special day! how perfect that you & daniel could stop through indy on that day during your cross-country roadtrip! i still have that special tea set you gave us (from cambodia, maybe? was it a foreshadow of things to come?), & even tracked down a companion creamer to the teapot & sugar bowl you gave us!
so the secret about the bag is that: 1) it's not from anthropologie 2) it cost a third of the price of said beautiful (but oh-so-similar) bag 3) mine is actually a camera bag (jototes.com)! now i don't have to decide between taking a purse, diaper bag/satchel, or sporty functional camera bag when i leave the house. it's all-in-one, & it's changing my life! ;)
