happy father's day, josh!

for josh's first father's day i made a beard... for each of us! after all, what could be more fatherly than a BEARD? & for years he's desperately wanted to be able to grow one. and, i thought he needed a dose of something manly since he spends all of his days surrounded by kittens, ducks, & girls (me, heron, & my mom).

it's been such a joy watching josh grow into fatherhood. (i met him when he was just 20, still a boy really, & now he's a papa! a beautiful transition to observe over the years...) he is so amazing with heron--patient, tender, playful & creative. i am so blessed to have him as a husband & parenting partner! i think he's really earned that beard!
