in the spirit of josh's post last week, here's my own nostalgia--7 years ago in peru. i was in the final year of my 3-year term with food for the hungry in peru. josh & i had just met while i was up in indiana for my brother's wedding. a few months later, he hopped a plane with our friend pat, & the two of them volunteered in a cafe in the peruvian desert city of arequipa. josh visited my childhood home with me during this time, & at the end of their 3-month stay, the three of us traveled around the diverse landscapes of my homeland...
