this week:

: 1 * jason & kari are "in town" :

("in town" = in upland vs. arizona... we went to the zoo with kari, jason & the kids on tuesday, where we saw polar bears (above), sharks, & the dolphin show! we also joined them for a july 4th vegan bbq)

: 2 * lisa spent several days with us :

(a dear muncie friend, now living in san diego)

: 3 * josh & i spent july 4th at minnetrista in muncie

(no photos, but the fireworks were amazing. we found a special viewing spot on the berm where we first climbed trees together 5 years ago. it was a nostalgic time.)

: 4 * the indiana fields were like storybooks :

: 5 * even the corn was enchanting :

: 6 * we are beginning to sort & pack for our big move :

(we're only moving an hour north, to eaton, but we're really downsizing... moving into the furnished home of some friends, & who knows where in the world after that)

: 7 * we can't stop listening to me without you :

: 8 * we're obsessed with cob houses & veggie oil cars :

: 9 * josh played a muncie block party :

(i know, i post too many show shots of josh, but i love that it was called "good times"!)

we had GOOD TIMES

(as we move out of our present city/work, & enter the big unknown, it's so encouraging to walk alongside, even if "virtually", some like-minded travellers. on their brief trip back from thailand, we shared a delightful backyard falafel + mead lunch. they introduced us to WWOOF, which we're excited to check out)
