three days after leaving portland, we arrived in sunny encinitas, ca, home of tim & gina crozier. we were last here two years ago, & we are glad to be here again. goodness, this place has my favorite weather on the planet. & some really great people, too.
we will be here for two days, then head to redlands for two days, returning here for a few days to rest before touring again (using their guesthouse as home base for a bit).
the croziers have a few laying hens, which heron loves feeding. here tim is educating her on chicken maintenance. it looks like she's telling this little lady, "live long & prosper"!
heron & shepherd have loved hanging out with the crozier boys, caleb & micah. here's heron & shepherd in their first music video, with caleb. (my first attempt to film a music video, too)
our first day here was the day of josh's encinitas show at la paloma theatre. the kids wanted to see their daddy in action, so i swung them by the theatre for merch set-up + sound check.
a friend's mother was able to babysit so i could attend the show. i will miss most of the shows on this tour, since i'll be with my little buddies heron & shepherd, but the encinitas show was one that i really wanted to make it to!

(josh is also a pro-skater who rides for toy machine. he's a husband & father of two kids heron & shepherd's ages, so we're looking forward to getting to know his whole family while we're here in southern cal)

tim did such an amazing job putting this show together. the theatre was packed out & full of life. it was such a stellar beginning to the tour!
