heron is really into word games these days. silly rhymes, alliteration, puns. she's still also really into princess dresses, but she's not beyond a little functionality. the other day she wore her princess dress indoors with wings and a long-sleeve shirt + vest for warmth. we were calling her a "northwest woodland fairy," to which she replied, "no, i'm the northwest tootland fairy!" as she let out a little toot & a giggle.
