since josh & i will be moving to north carolina on july 27th, this will probably be the last entry in the eaton guest book. immediately post-cornerstone we hosted our friends from porchfront factorye--joel, charity, aimee wilson & justin (formerly of psalters) & the folks from timbre's band after a show they all played with josh at the village green in muncie.


as you know, josh & i love hosting friends & strangers, & bill & robin's place in eaton has been an exceptional haven of hospitality over this past year. we were glad to have this one last hurrah before our move, though we expect the hospitality to continue even when we're no longer living in the crossroads of america!

we were so blessed to have this time to catch up with joel & charity, whom we see so rarely but feel so kindred to. josh officiated their wedding last year. & we will forever remember falling asleep with heron while timbre played her harp & sang elven melodies beneath our window until daybreak, the river joining the chorus. these friends, old & new, encourage & inspire us as we seek to live lightly in this world. they are all travellers, artful, loving, & generous.
