( i still can't believe i have a daughter )
i love this girl! lezlie took this photo last friday when she, pat, & israel camped out at our house to see how israel would do on a real camping trip. we really enjoyed hanging out with them on that perfect june evening. the next morning heron & i joined them for a delicious buckwheat strawberry pancake breakfast, while josh & jay took off early for PAPA fest.

love the pic... btw, we have something for the little byrd... could we get an address? thx... as to the 'stach - well, it was a 3 week experiement that had to do more with socio-typing and self-perception than garning comments :) I gave a talk on "There will be Blood" and Daniel Plainview had some inspiration... I'm experiementing with my shirts being 'tucked in' now :)

i'm relieved to hear that it was just an experiment, mostly because afterwards i thought maybe it was "for real" & i'd hurt your feelings! josh was (jokingly) mad at me, saying, "oh my gosh, mitchy! i can't believe you called it a "dirty 'stache!" i felt so bad! looking forward to hearing about (& seeing pictures of) the tucked-in experiment!
