yesterday was joshie's birthday!
a few weeks ago when we were talking about our 4-year age difference, josh mistakenly called me a baby snatcher instead of a cradle robber! i almost died laughing!
we laid low yesterday, stayed local... hit the mexican restaurant for lunch with the billet construction guys, played miniature golf a few miles from here, watched the storm roll in, shared a pint & a pizza at our old favorite: the heorot, watched a movie.
the storm absolutely made josh's day into a memorable birthday. nothing quite like a midwest thunderstorm. it threatened our entire mini-golf game, adding the element of danger! really, an unplanned powerful natural occurrence was the best gift anyone could've given josh. thanks, Lord!

twenty seven! we figured twenty six is still mid-twenties, but twenty seven definitely moves into the next category...if thirty is the new twenty, does that make twenty seven the new seventeen? :)
