Zack and Pat prepared a weekend of hobo-skillets, hiking, and laughter by the fire down in golden hills of the Red River Gorge. The weather was perfect, and we couldn't stop commenting on how blessed the whole time felt. Jake Jones, Jay KP, Kaleb, and Ian Motes were also along for the bachelor party ride. Just a few weeks before my wedding day, this was an ideal moment to take a deep breath and find some encouragement and comraderie with some of my closest freinds. During our hike we ventured off the "beaten path" and forged our own way.....literally up over a mountain and then down into a pathless valley. In the evening we drank quality cold beers by the fire, and talked of marriage while Jay played ghostly appalacian songs on his lap guitar. It was a milestone moment.
